Owen Sound Attack Community Usher Program
The Chatsworth Skating Club has the opportunity to raise some funds for its program through the Owen Sound Attack's Community Usher program that will provide the club with $50 per volunteer we provide for our assigned games.
We will be looking for 10 adults over the age of 18 to help us on the following nights:
Saturday, October 11, 20
Saturday, November 29, 2025
Saturday, January 31, 2025
Here are some more details about what is required of you while you are at the Bayshore as a Community Usher.
- On game day, please arrive at least 20 minutes ahead of gates opening for our game. (e.g. 5:40pm for a 7pm game with gates opening at 6:00pm). Arrive through the front middle doors, and let them know you are ushering. You can then gather by the zamboni entrance below section Z where we will get you everything you need.
- You are in place to provide guidance and be our eyes for security and emergencies. Radio for security, paramedics, or our staff to deal with any issues.
- You are in place from gates opening until your section clears at the end of the game. This is to make sure we have eyes on anyone that could trip, fall, get injured, or any security issues. If you need to leave (for washroom or other reasons), you can radio for security or our staff, or have your neighbouring usher watch your section while you are away.

New this year, at ticketed events (including Attack games), in-line with modern parameters, there will no longer be any outside food or drink allowed into the building. (Ticket Ownership, Game Night Policies & Fan Safety - Owen Sound Attack). What that means for ushers and any of our staff, is that you can still bring in an empty water bottle and use the refill station in the building (down by our downstairs concession). If you bring a bottle that is not empty, you may be asked to empty it before being allowed into the building.
