OUR COACHES
The Chatsworth Skating Club has a long history of great coaching and is proud to have two great coaches in place for the 2024-25 season. Head Coach Heather Carmichael continues her guidance of the club's programs for the 2024-25 skating season, while Coach Wendy Copland joins the Club for the upcoming season and will be involved with the Shooting Star and StarSkate programs working in tandem with Coach Heather on Monday nights.
Heather Carmichael - Head Coach
Coach Heather enters her ## season as the Head Coach of the Chatsworth Skating Club with 27 years of experience as a professional coach in Grey and Bruce counties. She is also a Star 1-5 accredited assessor with Skate Canada and has completed her Gold level dances.
Growing up as a skater in the Chatsworth Skating Club herself, Coach Heather is dedicated to providing her participants with the same high level experience and opportunities to grow and succeed that she experienced during her skating journey.
Away from the rink, Coach Heather is a Physiotherapy Assistant at a clinic in Owen Sound and is also kept busy with her active family that includes her five children.

Wendy Copland - Coach
Coach Wendy enters her first season with the Chatsworth Skating Club and current operates the Golden Blades Sk8 Academy in Markdale and Flesherton, where she is the Head Coach.
